New FEMA Archived Flood Data Website Available
FEMA has made it easier to request technical data and information for Flood Insurance Studies and flood maps by launching the new Archived Flood Data website. Skip the paper mail-in process and submit your requests online.
Users can also request other important flood information, including Letters of Map Changes, Letters of Map Revisions, Letters of Map Amendments, elevation certificates, and final map products.

NFIP Extended to Sept. 30
On Feb. 3, President Trump signed legislation that extends the National Flood Insurance Program’s authorization to Sept. 30, 2026. The short-term extension of the NFIP was part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026 (H.R.7148), specifically SECTION 5004. This is the NFIP's 35th short-term extension — and its fifth lapse — since the end of FY2017. The NFIP lapsed briefly after Congress failed to reauthorize the NFIP before its Jan. 30 deadline.View the Bill
